Seasons by Olivier Elzer - A Magical Wooden Box

Helmed by the 3 Michelin star starred chef, Olivier Elzer, this gorgeous newly Michelin awarded restaurant serves contemporary French cuisine as well as a unique afternoon tea that is presented in Season’s signature wooden wine box.
At this time of year, the summer seasonal French tea set combines both spectacular savouries and delightful sweets, in addition to traditional English scones.
Highlights include honeydew melon balls with white ham mousse, egg salad in pretzel bun, a replication of corndog named as the Seasons, choux puff and mango & coconut panna cotta. Feeling fancy? There is also options of cotton candy, cocktails and wines.
My absolute favourite is the scones that are served separately in a long plate. Unlike the typical dense English biscuits, their homemade scones have lovely crispy crust with slightly crumbly yet moist center. Come in two versions, plain and with raisins, there are also apricot jam and clotted cream for an optional touch.
In my honest opinion, the savouries are very stunning in terms of presentation, but the quality is less than expected.
Nevertheless, Season’s serves some of the best delicious pastries in town. Favourites are surely the buttery financier served atop a raspberry jam filled raspberry; mini lemon tart with sweet meringue and tangy lemon curd filling a nicely executed pate sucree.
All in all, from the delectable pastries, attentive services and comfortable environment, the Season’s wooden box is found to be utterly amazing. You do not want to miss it!
