Above & Beyond 天外天 - Above all else

Like no other solid Chinese restaurant, Above & Beyond offers the most phenomenal dining experience. First, we are accompanied by a 360 degree panoramic view of the Hong Kong skyline. Second, we are greeted and be seated at a comfortable and relaxing dining room.
Coming back for a weekend lunch rather than the amazing afternoon tea, here comes some of the best dim sum I have ever had.
Roasted meats, fried spring rolls and Chinese pizzas, they don't seemingly look spectacular, but the presentations are impressively neat and tidy. For the century egg, it has a superiorly creamy yolk.
The barbecued pork is also glazed with the most loved sweet honey sauce. Tender and succulent, because they are made with Iberico pork.
While for the steams such as har gow, shao mai and barbecued pork buns are all equally delicate and eye watering, the braised pork knuckles are incredibly rich in Hua Diao wine flavors; the lotus leaf rice also gives a wonderful aroma with relish.
We finish the meal with more recommended Chinese desserts. A family favourite would be the very traditional Chinese sponge cake, steamed to the perfect fluffiness with great colour coming from the brown sugar.
The whole table is also impressed by the decent presentation of the baked sago pudding, which comes with a refined almond cookie and osmanthus jelly.
This place has been a true wonder. Surely recommended for a dim sum lunch.
