Scarlett Cafe & Wine Bar - Heart Melting Chocolate

This cozy wine bar has already been a hit in Bangkok and Beijing. At Scarlett, its wood and metal setting includes comfortable dining seatings on the first floor, main bar and a wine cellar where serves valuable French wines.
From breakfast, lunch to dinner, it offers amazing food selections, American style breakfast, freshly made pastries, inexpensive set lunches and absolutely diverse a la cartes. 
At the blackboard menus, you will also find great options of cheese or terrine tapas and Chef Specials.
Our dinner starts with an appetizer from their signature list. The slow cooked poached egg made with red wine is super runny; while smothered over lardon sauce, pork fat in other words, it has become a truly unbeatable combination.
We also loved the French onion soup with a piece of cheesy crouton.
For a dish from the land, the 20 hour slow cooked pork belly is perfectly tender, braised at 66 C and butchered with fatty layers alternating between. Who can resist such a great piece of pork belly!
Some recommended sweet treats have also been my favourites here. A floating island, which is an airy egg white meringue serving over a sweet vanilla custard, atop with strawberry sauce and crunchy slivered almond.
The molten chocolate cake is an absolute match made in heaven. Served warm in a casserole pot, with gooey molten centre and a scoop of cold vanilla ice cream.
