Hakata Ippudo 一風堂 - Ramen Champion

Ippudo is ranked as the most popular ramen restaurant. Needless to say, their secret recipe in doing ramen is an absolute success in becoming a reputable ramen chain found all over the world, including Japan, New York and Hong Kong.
Shiro, meaning white, has been made with their standard recipe. As it is claimed to cook with pork bones, the ramen broth is undeniably rich, milky coloured and slightly thick, which pairs with thin and al dente whole wheat ramen. The Japanese char siu is also lean yet nicely tender, plus some extra toppings of scallops and seaweed.
Today, the restaurant also offers other Japanese entrees. The shrimp and avocado salad is dressed with a creamy whilst hot wasabi mayo that has an extremely strong pungency.
An Ippudo style scotch egg is covered impressively with breadcrumb coating, sliced porks and an enticing runny yolk.
Favourite of the night is this barbecue pork slider bun, which is exclusive to New York. The bun is super fluffy and the pork is cut delicately to thin slices, with consecutive layers of fat and meat.
After all, this is quite an exquisite ramen dining.
