Cheung Chau Street Food - Best Delicious Eat!

Apart from the Cheung Chau Bun Festival, Cheung Chau is also one of the best touristy islands having a reputation for bicycle rides, seafood and amazing street foods. Upon arrival, a line of food stalls are selling fried ice cream, iced fruit pops and the best buy jumbo fish balls. Flavored with different sauces; satay, curry, black pepper or back to basic original, while are skewered in pairs of two. The size is undoubtedly large compare to original ones, and the bouncy texture is excellent.
Moving on to the very end of San Hing Street, here is a very localized dessert cafe selling a few varieties of Cantonese desserts, widely known for their mango glutinous rice mochi. You'll find ladies sitting at the back of the shop who are wrapping mango mochi continuously to cope with the large demand. A huge slice of mango is wrapped in chewy mochi skin that is covered with thin layer of corn starch. Depending on the season, mango is tad sour but sweet to my liking.
Additionally, a mango dessert with grass and green tea jelly dressed with evaporated milk is also a great cooling agent under such hot weather.
