Nha Trang 芽莊 - The Viet

Sometimes it is hard to find a restaurant in Hong Kong that serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine. And sometimes, I do confuse between Vietnamese, Thai and Malaysian. Nha Trang is one of those Viet-Thai which has been mentioned again and again, and just saying, this is my second visit to a Vietnamese restaurant after La Taste at Central.
The batter fried Vietnamese crabs containing slight amount of crab roe are lightly seasoned, served crispy and hot, alongside with a wedge of lime and bunch of salad leaves. The beef skewers are grilled to perfect tenderness with a bit of black pepper, scent of lemongrass and sweet marinade. This succulent dish is especially enjoyable with the satay dip that is very peanutty and mildly sweetened. Not to mention the meaty big tiger prawns, the red hot coloured tamarind sauce has bathed them wonderfully; a balance of sweet, peppery tanginess! All in all, it would be great if they could offer more desserts variety on the menu.
