Tiffin - Five Tier Luxurious Experience

The afternoon tea set from Tiffin lounge at the Grand Hyatt Hotel has been publicly praised for long. It is a five-tier high tea stand with savories and sweets, including some unlimited homemade ice creams and sorbets from their ice cream station. 
My favourites are the lobster salad with truffle in a puff pastry case; cucumber sandwich roll filled with fleshy crab meat; creamy brie sandwiched between two crispy walnut thins. Honestly speaking, the sweets do not contribute much to the "wow" factor but the profiterole with matcha cream, madeleine’s with slivered almond and chocolate hazelnut mille feuille have shown a better impression. Despite the scones are too dry and lack of moisture, and their strawberry jam is over sweetened, there are waffles that are made fresh from the waffle iron. Hot, toasty, eggy, spongy, it is a perfect square for me. I topped it with the best pistachio ice cream from their homemade ice cream bar, which is super nutty, some candied almonds and drizzled with a slightly sweetened vanilla custard. Passion fruit with meringue ice cream and the tiramisu ice cream cake are also some others that I recommend.  Literally, this is a scrumptiously luxurious afternoon tea experience.
