Barg - The Italian French

It was an amazing night at this upper bistrot, a Western restaurant offering both French and Italian cuisines, plus lots of seafoods. Their complimentary bread basket comes with herbed butter and half a head of roasted garlic. A warm, toasty clove of garlic is completely golden, butter-soft and naturally sweet, which is perfect to enjoy with their mini buns. The off menu french fries is baked off with stringy melted cheddar, so cheesy and scrumptious. The thin crust pizza is a simple combination of tomato, basil and mozzarella with a biscuit-like base. While we all agree that the pasta linguine is too spicy with fresh Tuatua clams in white wine sauce, the tomato based risotto is cooked al dente with a nice fleshy crab claw and some legs. The best of the night is the goldenly breaded tiger prawns toast, which has a generous stuffing of crab meat on top of an extra thick toast.
