Mekiki no Ginji 目利きの銀次 - One-month-late Birthday Celebration

This Japanese restaurant offers a range of Okinawan dishes. The food stay intact with the regional cooking style from appetizers, grills, sushi, noodles, rice and desserts. Two of my favorites are the soft Tamagoyaki that is cooked to medium and filled with a salty chilly mentaiko, whereas the battered oysters are fried and lusciously paired with a flavorful sea urchin sauce, resting on a bed of Japanese spinach in a sizzling pan. Apart from mentaiko fried rice and the back-to-basic seafood sushi rolls, we also order a seafood pancake which is made in their Okinawa way. While it tastes similar to Korean seafood pancake but filled with much more sophisticated ingredients, it is quite a heavy dish and is preferably to be shared among 4 to 5 peeps.
