Wang Jia Sha 王家沙 - Dinner

I have a massive craving for Xiao Long Bao these days, which has eventually been satisfied with a Shanghainese dinner at Wang Jia Sha.
Since it is the peak season of hairy crab, we decided to get a crab roe xiao long bao instead of the regular ones with pork fillings. The xiao long bao is so flavorful and juicy with unexpectedly overflown among of soup while the soupy dumplings are also pan fried to crisp. With additional orders of noodle with chicken in thickened broth as well as stir fried rice with egg whites, we end up with the yin yang tong yun for our grandparents' sweettooth. The gingery soup base is nothing notable but the two cute little dumplings are in fact filled with different pastes, they are sesame and red bean respectively.
