Red Penny Thai Viet Chisine Bar 旦王花 泰越鍾情 - Dinner

It is about the end of June. I have spent a homey day with mommy and nephew at home. At night, Daddy drives us to Yuen Long for a Thai dinner, where I haven't been to since my 16-years. This is such a beautiful place with nice ambience, seafood grills and freshly homemade naans. We also ordered a green curry with pork. And yet in my opinions, I still prefer the cheese naan and dessert platter at Erawan Thai.

Cheese naan

Grilled king prawns

Stir fried kai lan with salty fish
Coconut chicken soup
Grilled lamb chops
Grilled pork neck

Lettuce wrap with minced beef

Thousand layer pudding
Pumpkin pudding
Coconut sago puddings
Taro pudding

Liberty Exchange Kitchen & Bar - Brunch

This restaurant is famous for stone oven pizzas. Although it's just the brunch menu on this Saturaday afternoon, we are still able to get a taste of their stone top food, such as the stromboli, that is basiclly a stuffed pizza. I'm impressed with their compliementary crispy french bread and the other one is even stuffed with fresh whole clove garlic. The brunch menu does not include their signature crab cake unfortunately. Every brunch comes with a starter and a main, but neither drinks nor desserts. We also ordered a Australian stirloon burger that comes with fries.
To be frank, I would want to come again for their lunch menu.

Complimentary bread basket with olive oil and butter

Goat cheese salad with picked beetroots, rocket leaves and chopped pistachio
(goat cheese was served separately on side)

Truffle mushroom soup

Baby spinach and marinated berries salad with balsamic reduction

Stone ovens Stromboli with marinara (choice of smoked salmon and dill)

Buttermilk chicken waffle with seared foie gras, thick cut bacon, maple syrup and honeycomb

Tuna melt served with citrus salad

Siu To Yuen Seafood Restaurant 小桃園海鮮酒家 - Dinner

Thank you Daddy and Mommy for bringing me to Lau Fau Shan to have my first yellow oil crab (wong yau hai) in my life. These crabs are not as popular as those Shanghainese hairy crabs, while they are much rare and thus expensive, they are fully filled with crab roes. To learn more about yellow oil crab, read this article from SCMP!
We ordered a few seafood dishes which were certainly enough for us 5 at the dinner (see below), also a stir fried groupa with celery and a deep fried groupa bones/head. I also requested for a "peach bun" at the end to cure my sweet tooth.

Fried mantis shrimps with pepper and salt

Steamed EXTRA LARGE scallop with glass noodle in garlic and soy sauce

Steamed yellow oil crab

Steamed yellow oil crab roe

Longevity bun with lotus filling
