Ye Shanghai 夜上海 - Lunch

It has been weeks since the Mother's day and we still couldn't find a time to celebrate with our Godmother for some catch-up. Today we can finally meet up for some Shanghai food at Ye Shanghai, which is located in Marco Polo Hong Kong Hotel right next to Cucina
Officially, they have two branches and the other restaurant is in Admiralty. I haven't been there yet but I am sure the quality of food won't differ much. For each table, they place a tub of their homemade XO sauce (sold for $100/bottle) that we find great to serve with our stir-fried rice cakes!

Steamed crab roe and vegetable dumplings

Daikiya 大喜屋日本料理 - Japanese All-You-Can-Eat

This was absolutely a tiring day after spending a great time with my friends at Hong Kong Disneyland. After experiencing a day of sunshine and such hot weather, I really wanted something to cool my internal body. So I suggested for some japanese food and eventually we came for a japanese buffet.
This is my first experience with japanese buffet and we ordered some sashimis, sushis, grilled sweet potato, tempura, crab porridge and a lot more that I couldn't mention all here. A highlight of the night must be the deep fried rice cake with gooey cheese filling which was ridiculously good.
